Learning how to generate leads can be a daunting process, but it’s a necessity for any business owner who wants to grow their customer and client bases and, of course, revenue.
I am going to show you how can use my lead generation software, Lead Peep, to quickly and easily generate new leads for your business. These are cold leads that you can use to send out emails or direct mail to generate warm and hot leads which can be thrown into your sales pipeline.
With this knowledge you can avoid using a lead generation agency, thus saving money.
First, Meet Lead Peep
Lead Peep is an online lead generation tool which was designed to help b2b companies to quickly and easily export contact information for thousands of businesses within a specific industry, including emails and physical addresses, for use in their outbound sales campaigns.
Once business leads have been discovered via Lead Peep they can be exported in a CSV file for importing into an email marketing tool for cold emailing to generate warm leads.
You can learn more about how Lead Peep works over here.
How to Generate Business Leads
To begin generating business leads with Lead Peep, you will first need to login to your account or create a new one. You can view our pricing options and register an account here.
Now there are 4 easy steps to get your hands on new business leads.
1. New Search
Once you have created and logged in to your new Lead Peep account you will need to find the ‘New Search’ link in the top navigation menu of your control panel. It’s right next to ‘Dashboard’.
When you click on the ‘New Search’ link a box will open up on your screen, and this is where you’ll enter your lead search criteria. You will need to enter a keyword or industry (lawyer, accountant, dentist), enter a city and then choose a country. That’s it. Hit the button and wait.
At this point our system will begin scouring multiple sources around the internet using your lead criteria to find a list of relevant businesses along with their contact information.
Your business leads will be displayed in a list in a matter of seconds.
2. Lead Results
Once our system is finished doing its magic in the background, all of your new business lead data will be displayed in a table with each record containing business name, phone number, email address, physical address and any links to social media accounts that we find.
If you’re unhappy with the number of leads the system has found, you can easily resolve this by using our Bulk Search feature and using multiple cities at once, instead of just one.
All of your lead search results will be saved in your history for easy retrieval later.
3. Lead Search Filters
Filters are a fantastic way for excluding non-relevant businesses from your search results.
For example, an SEO agency looking for businesses to offer their services to will not want results for businesses who do not have a website, or if your plan is to send cold emails to the business leads you find then you wouldn’t want any results without email addresses, right?
Both of these examples can be resolved using our powerful search filters.
You can find our search filters by clicking “Filters” in the top navigation menu of your control panel. Currently, you can hide results without an email, phone number, URL and zip code.
4. Exporting Leads
Once you have a list of generated b2b leads you want, with any filters applied, it is time for you to export them from the Lead Peep system for use in your outbound sales campaigns.
On the lead results page you will see some exporting options at the top left of the page. These options currently enable you to print your leads, export them in Excel or CSV, print them, or alternatively use the data for use as a custom audience on Facebook for ad targeting.
Import your b2b leads for use in cold emailing campaigns to garner interest.
